Your images are never uploaded to our servers. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser using local rendering technology, so we have no way to see, store, or share the files you convert.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and page requests. This is standard infrastructure-level logging performed by our hosting platform and is not used to identify individual users or to analyze the content of any files you convert, since that content never reaches our servers in the first place.
If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we'll receive whatever information you choose to include in that message (such as your name and email address), which we use solely to respond to your inquiry.
When you drop an AVIF file onto the converter, your browser decodes it using standard image-handling APIs, draws it onto an in-memory canvas element, and re-encodes that canvas as a JPG or PNG file. This entire process happens within your browser tab. The resulting file is offered to you as a direct download; it is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard connection-level data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site to your browser, in line with Cloudflare's own privacy practices. We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site.
This site does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and its functionality does not require any personal information to use.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Since the core design of the tool — local, in-browser conversion — isn't expected to change, we don't anticipate substantial changes to how your data is (or rather, isn't) handled.
